This is not my Mine!verse, though it contains the same name: Jemima.

This was originally inspired by the video for P!nk's Trouble, but I'm thinking it's a new verse for me, since this Jemima is so very different than Mine's.

Len McCoy is a doctor who just delivered his cousin Joseph's baby. In return, Joseph asks him to lead a cattle run up to Nebraska, first of it's kind, ever. One of his hires for the trip is Jim Kirk, a down-on-his-luck cowchaser, who takes the job to continue running from his problems. As the ride commences, how will their interaction and relationship change?

The wagon rests in winter, the sleigh in summer, the horse never.

Star Trek doesn't belong to me, yada yada yada (though the little digs in the movie ((referring to almost every scene Kirk and McCoy are in)) are so my style, I was sadly not asked to help in the movie)

This is a continuation of this prompt over at [livejournal.com profile] buckleup_meme , the previous story titled Escaping Reality .

This will also be done in parts, all of which will be linked here and together for easy reading pleasure. I will crosspost the link into the meme when I am finished.

Summary: After the events of Escaping Reality, Leonard McCoy and Jim Kirk meet once again, on the shuttle to San Francisco. What happened in those 3 years they were apart?

(Chapter One: Gotta Be Somebody)

(Chapter 2: Microphones are Prudent)

(Chapter 3: Echoes)

(Chapter 4: Rustling Memory)

(Chapter 5: Roses in December)

(Chapter 6: Legacy of the Past)
